Job Title: Network Associate

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Associate with hands-on experience in the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing network infrastructure, supporting internal teams and external clients, and ensuring uninterrupted network services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Collaborate with telecom service providers for circuit provisioning, fault resolution, and upgrades.
• Configure and manage network devices following standard protocols.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and asset inventories.
• Support implementation of network projects, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and assist in periodic audits.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (NOC, IT, VoIP, Infrastructure) to support operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of networking experience, preferably in telecom or ISP environments.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with telecom hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.).
• Experience working with ISPs, telecom carriers, or enterprise voice/data networks.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (if required).

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have):

• CCNA / JNCIA / CompTIA Network+
• Exposure to SD-WAN, VoIP, or network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG).
• Experience in telecom provisioning systems or NOC support.
