WORK HOURS: 06:00 PM TO 03:00 AM (MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
iConsultera is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented US Payroll Executive to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for our organization. The Payroll Executive will ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits in compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of US payroll laws, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Executive or in a similar payroll management role, specifically focused on US payroll.
  • In-depth knowledge of US payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Experience using payroll software and systems, preferably with knowledge of major US payroll platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong experience using SUTA, XERO, PAYCHEX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect and review employee time and attendance data to calculate accurate payroll amounts, including regular hours, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule using payroll software, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible spending accounts.
  • Calculate and deduct employee contributions accurately and ensure timely remittance to benefit providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
  • Accurately calculate and withhold payroll taxes, including federal income tax, Social Security, Medicare, state income tax, and local taxes.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports, including quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
  • Generate payroll reports for management, finance, and HR departments as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute employee pay statements, W-2 forms, and other year-end tax documents.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to troubleshoot system issues and implement necessary updates or enhancements.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance regarding payroll, taxes, deductions, and benefits.
